Your responsibilities:
Professional and disciplinary leadership of a Medical Excellence & Operations team with two direct full-time equivalentsDirect reporting to the Head of Medical Excellence & OperationsOffice location is Wiesbaden (3 days/week), 2 flexible daysEnsure compliance of all Medical Excellence & Operations activities with AbbVie processes, ethics, regulatory requirements, and applicable lawImplementation of local Medical Excellence strategy and further development of processes and standards to ensure sustainable excellence of infield teamsProactive co-design and implementation of global strategies in a cross-functional environment; close collaboration with Headquarters, CEX, BTS, and Therapeutic AreasLeadership and execution of digital transformation projects (e.g., internet presence, multi-/omnichannel communication, capability building for medical teams)Monitoring and evaluation of market trends and derivation of strategic recommendations, including implementation planningStrategic consulting for local and global leadership on medical projects, especially within the FutureFit programDevelopment and tracking of KPIs (SMART outcome measures) in close coordination with senior leadership and therapeutic areasLeadership, promotion, and development of team members, as well as management of joint goal achievement and change processesResponsibility for cost control and budget compliance of all activities How you make a difference:

Completed (preferably scientific/medical) university degree, ideally with a doctorate (e.g., MD/PhD)In-depth knowledge of drug development and clinical researchVery good English and German language skills, spoken and writtenSolid experience in project management and office software, as well as industry-specific toolsExperience with budget responsibilityStrong familiarity with AbbVie and its integrated brand planning approachExperience
At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a comparable roleProven experience in successful stakeholder and relationship managementSeveral years of leadership experience including project management, planning, budgeting, and process-defined workExperience in Medical Affairs and a deep understanding of infield roles in the pharmaceutical industryWhat we offer you:
