As a member of the Litigation, Regulatory and Counselling team within our Office of General Counsel (OGC), you will contribute to all aspects of managing regulatory and litigation matters. This will include advising on a broad range of regulatory-focused issues, statutory obligations and auditor breach reporting, as well as assisting with general commercial litigation and other contentious matters. You will join a supportive in-house legal team, working closely with stakeholders across all areas and levels of the organisation and applying your technical expertise and strategic judgement to deliver practical, impactful advice.

What you’ll do:

• Support senior lawyers on all aspects of regulatory matters.

• Support senior lawyers to manage actual and threatened litigation and other contentious matters.

• Assist with the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice to internal clients across a variety of matters, working closely with risk and compliance teams.

• Provide focused and pragmatic solutions to address legal risk and business problems.

What we’re looking for:

Core skills

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience from a law firm.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with business partners, OGC colleagues and law firms.

• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail, including the ability to draft clear and precise legal communications.

• Efficient, organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage workflow expectations.

Desirable skills

• Willingness to be involved in a variety of matters.

• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, supportive in-house legal environment.
