About this role

Our client is a well-established player in the meat industry with production sites in Mechelen, Lebbeke and Temse. The company supplies high-quality beef and pork to the national market and is known for its strong commitment to quality and food safety. As a Sales Export Manager, you will have the opportunity to build a completely new business unit focused on export to Europe and Asia. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and will be given significant responsibility and room to take initiative. Your responsibilities Identify and approach potential partners and key accounts Build long-term relationships and expand the client portfolio Implement commercial action plans in line with the company’s strategy Collect and analyze market information to detect opportunities Represent the company at international trade fairs and conferences Travel regularly to your assigned regions Work mainly from the headquarters located in Temse You have at least 5 years of international B2B commercial experience in the food industry. Affinity with the meat sector is considered an asset. You are a strong communicator, able to handle pressure and make decisions. You think strategically, negotiate effectively, and work independently. You are entrepreneurial and able to translate opportunities into concrete actions. You are fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Spanish or German is a plus.
