About this role
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of maritime transportation operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and port logistics. Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective cargo movement. Maintain accurate records of cargo shipments, documentation, and tracking information. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities. Resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. Accomany the GM on client visits as required by business needs (infrequent) Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Over 3 years proven experience in shipping operations or maritime logistics. Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and shipping software. Excellent communication skills.Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure . Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
