About this role
Introduction As a System Engineer, you play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable IT systems that support business operations. You ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability across on-premises and cloud environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your responsibilities include: Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues proactively. Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with standards. Supporting virtualization and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Automating routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools. Collaborating with architects, developers, and support teams. Documenting system configurations and operational procedures. What we expect from you: At least 1 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments. Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and networking fundamentals. Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructures. Knowledge of automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible) and CI/CD concepts. Problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills. Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
