What We Are Looking For
We are currently looking to recruit a salaried GP to join our clinical team for 4 to 6 sessions per week. As an integral team member, the role will include clinical and administrative duties in a dynamic team. At Grafton Medical Partners our doctors are supported by a number of ARRS roles including Care Co-ordinators, Pharmacists, FCPs, Paramedics and a Social Prescriber.
We have regular clinical meetings and are highly performing and highly rated by our patients.

Job Summary

We are currently looking to recruit a salaried GP to join our clinical team. As you will be integral team member, the role will include clinical and administrative duties that will normally be collaborated with the Senior Partners/Operations Manager, along with Duty Doctor shifts. At Grafton Medical Partners our doctors are supported by a number of ARRS roles including Care Co-ordinators, Pharmacists, FCP, Paramedics and Social Prescriber.
As we are a long established training practice hosting medical students, F2 doctors and Registrars with all our Partners being GP Trainers, we are advocacies for those interested in developing teaching skills.
Job Responsibilities
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations (telephone triage and face-to-face appointments, including home visits), checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely frame.
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relations to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation.
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
Providing counselling and health education.
Recording clear and contemporary consultation notes.
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate.
Monitor and manage documents on EMIS results, lab reports, etc.
Participate in rotational on-call rota.
Consult with other GP team members about the specialized needs of some patients.
Expected to attend weekly clinical in practice meetings.
