We have an exciting position available for an experienced Sales Consultant/ Key Account Manager to join our vibrant, passionate, fast-paced team in our Hygiene division in Brisbane. This role is a combination of managing an assigned customer base while delivering new business. Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales quotas, retention, and revenue targets whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders. Conducting regular client business reviews and working closely with the operations team to ensure the services are carried out to the customers satisfaction.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Manage our existing client base and analysing their needs to increase salesGrow the current portfolio with New AccountsDriving new businessConducting site audits to ensure everything is operating as expected on-siteDevelop and maintain strategic business relationships with customer base within major accountsDevelop proposals appropriate to customers' needs, including product, service and cost optionsFacilitate the resolution of any operational and accounts issues by actively resolving all first-line queries and escalating where requiredDocument all customer contact information into company systems and applicationsMonitor competitor and market activity, reporting significant developments to management and monitor market trends through personal contact with customersThe ideal candidate must possess:
Previous experience in a similar roleStrong customer service skillsConfidence in cold calling and driving new businessAbility to balance required field activity whilst managing speedy client response timelinesStrong selling and negotiating skillsVersatility to build rapport with stakeholders at all levelsExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentGood attention to detailCandidates with no previous external account management experience need not apply
