Netsimco, a Saalex Company is seeking an Operations Analyst II in Groton, CT. Saalex Corp., is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company with a focus on Test Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services and Information Technology Services.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $110k-$125k annually (depending on experience) Work Location: Full-time onsite -Potential for up to $5k relocation assistance is available!
Essential Functions:
Analyze complex organizational problems to improve the coordination and management of people, materials, equipment, and financial resourcesApply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering to support decision-makingSupport organizational strategy, planning, forecasting, and resource allocation initiativesEvaluate and improve performance measurement, scheduling, and operational efficiencies Design and assess production facilities, systems, and processesAnalyze and optimize supply chain management, pricing, transportation, and distribution systemsCollect, organize, and analyze large and complex datasetsSelect and apply appropriate analytical techniques, including: SimulationLinear and nonlinear programmingDynamic programmingQueuing and stochastic-process modelsAnalytic hierarchy processDevelop and use mathematical models to represent real-world systemsAssess relationships among system components and assign quantitative values to model variablesPerform scenario and “what-if” analyses by modifying model inputs to evaluate potential outcomesOther duties as assigned or required.Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics or Mathematics7 years' professional experience in operations researchProposed personnel must demonstrate PWS relevant knowledge and experience with the principles of operations analysis and their application to tactical development exercises and undersea warfare. Underway periods on submarines or surface ships may be periodically required.Submarine qualified on an operational submarine.
Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
