About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands short-form content, storytelling, pacing, and performance-driven editing, not just clean cuts.
You’ll work closely with the marketing and content team to produce compelling video assets that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and paid social.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
Edit short-form and long-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Ads)Transform raw footage into engaging, polished videosAdd captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and musicOptimize pacing for retention and watch timeRepurpose long-form content into short-form snippets
Performance-Driven Creative
Understand hooks, retention editing, and viral trendsImplement platform-specific editing stylesCreate multiple variations for A/B testingEdit with conversion goals in mind (for ads and paid campaigns)Stay updated with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube trends
Brand & Creative Alignment
Maintain brand tone, style, and visual consistencyCollaborate with content strategists and marketing teamsInterpret briefs and deliver high-quality output quicklyIncorporate feedback efficiently and meet tight deadlines
Requirements
2+ years of professional video editing experienceStrong portfolio showcasing short-form contentProficiency in:Adobe Premiere ProAfter EffectsCapCut (preferred for short-form)Final Cut Pro (optional)Strong understanding of social media content formatsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skills
