Join Capgemini as a SAP Solution Architect , and establish a long term relationship with our major customer, helping them optimizing their SAP transformation journeys. CONTEXT As an End to End Solution Architec t within Capgemini, your role is to help our clients in crafting, modelling and delivering a working end to end solution within one or more business domains. As a solution architect, you are involved in all aspects of an SAP project . During the design phase, you take the lead in creating a vision and a high-level solution , as a playing field for the different functional teams. During the build phase, you closely align with the technical architects to deliver a working solution, while monitoring the functional teams so that everyone adheres to the overall vision and solution. During the prep of the Go Live and the Go Live itself, you take the lead in guiding the client towards a successful transition and a smooth start-up. You work in tandem with the project manager , in a joint responsibility for the success of the project in scope, timeline and budget. You provide tactical input towards the steering committee, the delivery manager and the account manager. As part of the core team for a project or customer, you are the face of Capgemini and try to defend our interests, while delivering according to client expectations. Your role is to drive excellence for our clients through innovative (standard) SAP solutions crafting and strategic leadership and vision, optimizing performance and processes for sustainable business success. YOUR ROLE Solution Design : collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft, design and implement a new and effective SAP-based solution that aligns with business objectives and best practices, based on SAP’s on-premise and cloud portfolio of solutions. Project Leadership : work closely together with the project manager and lead the functional teams, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from a solution and delivery perspective, ensuring high quality delivery according to client expectations, but also timely and within budget. System Configuration : keep in touch with the system and the latest SAP solutions and toolsets, in order to support our functional teams to configure and customize SAP to meet specific organizational requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes in or out of SAP; while sticking as close as possible to the standard of SAP Team Management : manage and mentor consultants of various levels of expertise; providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and contribute to project success Internal management and contributions : As a senior colleague within Capgemini, you actively follow the latest developments, roadmaps, toolsets and strategic visions of SAP, and you actively share your findings within the Architecture Community and beyond. YOUR PROFILE 10+ years of SAP project experience in a line of business, a sector or a solution suite, with proven knowledge in a SAP solution design and solution architect role Extensive knowledge of the latest SAP technology portfolio , on-premise , in the cloud (BTP, CALM,...) and ecosystem for your domain of expertise, and how to apply them in a clean core approach Knowledge of common non-SAP technologies that are used your domain of expertise, such as : GIS, Copperleaf, IoT, Field Service Management, transport management solutions, ServiceNow, integration platforms, automated warehouse management solutions, … A collaborative spirit & customer-oriented attitude, being able to lead both internally and externally Result-driven & focused on delivering quality, within the boundaries of a project and a contract Fluency in Dutch or French is mandatory and professional working proficiency in English
