About this role
As a GL Accountant , you will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting operations of your designated company. At DSV in Belgium, we manage operations for 10 countries within West-Europe. Your duties will include preparing monthly and annual financial closings, reconciling accounting and operational processes, and ensuring accuracy and completeness. Collaborating with controlling and local teams, you will monitor costs, accruals, and provisions. Tasks: Assume responsibility for Balance Sheet analysis and monthly reconciliation; Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end internal and group reports; Participate in the annual budgeting process; Participate in the annual external audit process. From nine truck drivers to the world leader in logistics in less than 50 years, at DSV you will keep growing and play in a different league Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting; You have already a few years of experience as GL Accountant; Strong analytical skills, attention to detail; You can speak and write fluently in English; Knowledge of balance sheet analysis, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes, IFRS, and reconciliations. SAP experience is advantageous; A team player who thrives in an international environment.
