About this role
W hat does a Critical Infrastructure NOC Manager do at LCL? As a Critical Infrastructure NOC Manager, you will contribute to building a standardized and scalable NOC operation across all data center sites. You will share responsibility for the daily operational management and ongoing development of the NOC. You will develop, implement, and optimize processes, procedures, runbooks, and incident management practices to ensure the NOC team responds quickly, accurately, and consistently to alarms, incidents, and operational challenges. In addition, you will establish a strong training and knowledge management framework. Through onboarding programs, training initiatives, and hands-on simulations, you will strengthen the technical expertise and decision-making capabilities of NOC employees. You will coach, motivate, and develop a team of 12 NOC professionals working in a continuous 24/7 operational environment. You will ensure strict adherence to incident management procedures by training operators, monitoring compliance with escalation paths, customer communication standards, and reporting requirements, and driving continuous process improvement. You will oversee the quality of monitoring, alarm handling, incident response, and ticket management processes, ensuring that critical alerts receive prompt and appropriate attention. As a key link between the NOC, field technicians, technical experts, IT teams, and external partners, you will foster efficient collaboration and clear communication across all sites. You will report directly to the Critical Infrastructure Manager. Your primary workplace will be Aalst , with regular coordination and collaboration across LCL’s other locations. I s this the right opportunity for you? You hold at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through relevant experience. You have previous experience leading technical teams and know how to coach, motivate, and develop employees, preferably within a 24/7 or continuous operations environment. You have experience with operational processes in a technical or critical infrastructure environment. Experience in a data center or NOC environment is a strong asset. You possess solid technical knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC and are familiar with monitoring tools, BMS and/or DCIM systems. You have a process-oriented mindset, bring structure to complex environments, and develop clear procedures. You document accurately and ensure knowledge remains up to date. You have strong analytical skills, quickly identify patterns and root causes, and translate insights into sustainable improvements. Experience with change management and continuous improvement initiatives is a significant advantage. You communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, promote standardized ways of working, and actively encourage knowledge sharing and coaching. You are comfortable providing guidance and corrective feedback when needed. You have a good command of Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written.
