Assistant Coach, Men's Soccer
Job Description:
The assistant men's soccer coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with the direction and organization of the Owens Community College men's soccer program. Essential Functions:
• Maintains discipline and works to increase morale and cooperation within the collegiate sports program.
• Teaches sports techniques, playing rules, strategies and playing tactics.
• Supervises and conducts practices, contests, and transportation safely.
• Assists the head coach in carrying out their responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of soccer rules and regulations.
• Demonstrative soccer skills.
• Oral and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with the players and other coaches.
• Ability to contribute to the overall positive student-athlete experience that includes practice sessions, games and travel.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school/club or equivalent coaching experience preferred.
• Collegiate coaching experience or collegiate playing experience preferred.

Pay Basis: Period Activity Pay
Hiring Range $14.57-$16.40
