Responsibilities: As HSE Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving the Health, Safety and Environment strategy across the site. You ensure compliance with applicable legislation, corporate standards and industry best practices while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. You monitor workplace conditions, assess risks and ensure that appropriate preventive measures are implemented. Through regular site inspections and close collaboration with operational teams, you identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of corrective actions. You coordinate the investigation of incidents and accidents, determine root causes and ensure that effective preventive measures are put in place. You also oversee emergency preparedness activities and support the management of emergency response and first aid teams. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining HSE documentation, monitoring performance indicators, preparing reports and supporting internal and external audits. You contribute to the continuous development of HSE processes and ensure that policies and procedures remain aligned with regulatory and organisational requirements. You provide guidance, coaching and training to managers and employees, helping to strengthen safe behaviours and reinforce a proactive approach to health, safety and environmental management. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Prevention or a related discipline. - Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1; Level A environment is an asset. - Min. 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role within an industrial environment. - Fluent in Dutch, French and English. - Communication and leadership skills. Ability to influence and engage people at all levels of the organisation. - Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Proactive, hands-on and results-oriented approach.
