The Sales Consultant plays a critical role for NielsenIQ’s Omni Sales Team as a key resource during sales campaigns. You will work in conjunction with sales associates to sell solutions within your functional area of the Omni Team, specifically NIQ Panels.

Responsibilities:

Build deep expertise of your focused product

Lead proposals and presentations that clearly communicate why the solution is right for specific clients based on their business needs

Create customized analyses to aid in the sales pitch to demonstrate strength of data, including presenting this material to clients

Demonstrate the NIQ solution to clients in a live environment

Determine scope and style of commercial packages, simple and complex pricing scenarios, and proposed implementation engagements

Independently complete analyses using NielsenIQ’s proprietary tools to develop insights that drive client outcomes

Ability to understand/explain the value of NielsenIQ’s approach (versus other companies) and clearly and convincingly articulate Omni offering methodologies and value proposition to clients

Contribute to the development of junior level associates by modeling NIQ leadership traits, including informal mentoring opportunities

Participate in Product Leadership sessions to stay updated on latest developments for sales content/pitch adjustments

QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher

5-8+ years’ consultative selling experience to CPG manufacturing and/or retail

NielsenIQ, Numerator and/or Circana (IRI) data or other panel data experience preferred

Proven leadership skills

Positive attitude – glass is always half full

Willingness to travel to remote client locations (10-15% depending on needs)

Enjoy ambiguity and complex business challenges

Positive team member through all stages of sales cycle

Aggressive self-starter, able to quickly adapt to changing environments

Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals

Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications, and platforms a plus

Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might IS eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
