About this role
We are seeking Control System Software Engineer! In this position, you will play a key role in developing and delivering control system software for advanced subsea technologies, including subsea compression and boosting systems, swivel stacks, and other automated solutions. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across all project phases—from design and development to testing, delivery, and aftermarket support. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and test control system software for subsea systems Perform modifications and upgrades to delivered systems through aftermarket activities Participate in component, functional, system, and interface testing Work closely with suppliers during testing activities at supplier locations Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all project phases Support implementation and handover of control systems for subsea products and solutions We are looking for someone who: Is motivated to work with industry-leading subsea technology and support a sustainable energy future Enjoys solving technically challenging problems in a collaborative environment Holds a BSc or MSc in Automation, Cybernetics, Computer Science/IT, or a related field Has 4–8 years of relevant industry experience Has experience with PLC-based control systems (preferred) Is fluent in English, both written and spoken Has a positive, practical, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong drive and delivery focus Can work independently as well as in multidisciplinary teams Nice to Have Experience with Rockwell Automation products (e.g., Allen-Bradley PLCs or FactoryTalk View HMI) Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Familiarity with HTML5 and modern visualization tools Interest in using AI tools to improve development workflows Understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices Knowledge of industrial IT/networking and cybersecurity Folk can offer: Good long-term opportunities with our clients Individual and adapted follow-up while on assignment Good career development opportunities in an interesting and innovative sector Competitive terms and conditions Social events and pleasant tokens of appreciation throughout the year We see possibilities in your competence!
