Position Highlights:

• Position: Administrative Assistant III • Location: Primarily at Elmhurst Hospital, light travel to other hospitals for meetings/events • Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week • Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm hours may flex based on department needs • Required Travel: Light travel to other Endeavor Hospitals for special events / meetings.

What you will do: The Department Support Assistant III will provide advanced administrative support to the executive and senior management of the Surgical Services team at Endeavor Health. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle complex tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role will report to, and support the system Vice President, Surgical Services & Anesthesia. • Serve as the primary point of contact for the service line executives (Directors), managing schedules, correspondence, and communications. • Coordinate and manage appointments, meetings, and conference calls, ensuring the efficient use of their time. • Draft, edit, and proofread executive-level emails, memos, reports, and other documents. • Ensure all communication is professional and reflects the executive team's voice and objectives. • Maintain and update documents, records, and databases with the utmost accuracy and adherence to healthcare regulations. • Generate and compile reports, data analyses, and presentations for executive decision-making. • Collaborate with executives on special projects and strategic initiatives, conducting research, data analysis, and presenting findings. • Process invoices, monitor spending, and reconcile financial statements for the executive team. • Oversee office operations and supplies, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning. • Assist in the onboarding of new administrative team members and contribute to their training. • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
