This Technical Documentation Engineer role sits in Global Electronics Process Engineering in Tiszaújváros, Hungary, supporting mechatronics records for our EMS partner site with no relocation assistance offered.
Play your part in our team succeeding Global Electronics Process Engineering supplies high-tech mechatronics parts for LEGO® products across Europe and Asia, with further growth planned in Mexico. In this role, the team keeps engineering information clear, current and ready for colleagues who turn product ideas into manufacturable reality, especially around the SMART BRICK journey.
Core Responsibilities
• Handle standard project records in SharePoint and Teamcenter for engineering teams across GEPE locations. • Initiate Engineering Changes through the LEGO change process, tracking actions with care until closure. • Update standards linked to the internal TED initiative and agreed product governance routines. • Translate marked pictures, simple sketches and 3D files into usable manufacturing information. • Support Bill of Material hierarchy checks, CAD viewer use and MS Office based reporting.
Do you have what it takes?
• Degree background in mechanical, electronics or mechatronics engineering, or equivalent applied learning. • Organised approach to creating records across simple sketches, marked images and 3D files. • Comfortable reading Bill of Material structures and spotting dependencies before they ripple. • English at B2 level, with openness to learn across international locations. • Nice to Have: • Experience with Enterprise systems, Teamcenter or Product Lifecycle Management tools in engineering settings. • Initiative to spot better ways of working and share them with the team.
