Annual Salary: $43,621.50 - $43,621.50 Hourly: $22.37 - $22.37 Department: Athletics, Culture & Recreation Division: Youth Sports FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: This role will coordinate activities of paid and volunteer recreation service personnel for youth sports.
Examples of Duties:
• Develops and promotes recreation programs, including social recreation and games. • Adapts recreation programs to meet needs of the department and the community. • Introduces new program activities, equipment, and materials to staff. • Interprets recreation service to public and participates in community meetings and organizational planning. • Works in team with other recreation personnel to ensure that recreation is well balanced, coordinated, and integrated. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
• Two years of related experience and/or training • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Valid state issued driver’s license • Ability to obtain CPR certification and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word or similar software.
