Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results.

The incumbent will be part of VCA geographic team cluster of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand (SMT) markets, and will report to the Head of VCA Singapore.

The team is involved in a comprehensive range of consulting services and solutions to our clients, that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management, digital strategy, and data-driven portfolio management decisions.

What a Client Consulting Manager does at Visa:

As a Client Consulting Manager in Singapore, you will act as the workstream lead to deliver one or more workstreams within broader consulting engagements or transformation programs for our key issuing, acquiring, merchant & fintech clients.

Typically, the individual will closely interact & work with the client team gathering and managing project inputs, analyzing data to form conclusions and recommendations, developing and presenting compelling project reports and working with clients on executing recommendations.

In this role, you are expected to:

Contribute to the development of VCA consulting offerings and engagement delivery in Singapore to help Visa clients protect and grow payments

Develop trusted advisor relationships with client working teams through impactful consulting engagements

Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g. product, marketing, risk, innovation) to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources

Prepare client proposals and project plans, identifying dependencies, roles and responsibilities, scope and deliverables

Participate in delivering project engagements by preparing project materials including interview guides, data requirements, concepts, frameworks

Conduct industry research, drawing on Visa and partner resources as well as colleagues to identify global best practices and distill insights relevant to the client problem at hand

Create compelling presentations to illustrate findings, ideas, recommendations within consulting engagements and more broadly

Support thought leadership projects on the future of payments to our clients and partners

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 6 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.We are looking to hire the ideal candidate who has already accumulated strong consulting experience and will be curious about the payments industry and keen to work alongside an experienced payments team. You will be client-driven – you are comfortable managing a project end-to-end, and you relish the opportunity to work closely with clients to influence their future performance.

Essential specific skillset and experience required:

Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, banking / financial services or business managementGood knowledge of the payments industry landscape and developments, consumer trends and regulatory changesExcellent client relationship management skills with experience being part of strong sales teams and/or experience in dealing with senior client stakeholdersRobust experience in execution / implementation, driving initiatives to deliver concrete demonstrated business impact / value e.g. cost savings, new product launch, revenue uplift, etc.Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorStrong team orientation, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in a matrixed organizationExcellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilitiesSelf-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to progress multiple projects concurrentlyStrong commercial acumen, with experience in working on business/value cases that prove ROIStrong detail orientation, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysis Visa is an EEO Employer.
