Role Overview
The Manager HR Operations Shared Services is a critical leadership role responsible for delivering a high performing global HR Shared Services function. This role focuses on driving operational excellence shared services delivery quality risk management large scale transitions transformation initiatives and people leadership. The role ensures a consistent efficient and compliant employee experience while supporting enterprise HR strategy across regions. The Manager partners closely with HR Centers of Excellence HR Business Partners HR Technology Compliance and external vendors to deliver scalable and future ready HR operations.
This role reports to the Director HR Shared Services.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Lead and manage global HR Shared Services operations supporting employee lifecycle processes across multiple geographiesOversee case management employee data administration onboarding payroll coordination benefits administration and employment verification processesEnsure timely accurate and compliant updates in global HR systems including HRIS and case management platformsMaintain high standards of data integrity reporting accuracy and system governanceProvide hands on leadership in resolving complex employee data issues and service escalationsShared Services Transitions and Transformation
Lead the transition and migration of new processes into HR Shared Services including knowledge transfer documentation training and stabilizationDrive process standardization simplification and re engineering to improve efficiency scalability and employee experiencePartner with stakeholders to align shared services delivery with enterprise HR strategySupport mergers acquisitions and organizational changes from an HR operations perspectiveChampion digital enablement automation and continuous improvement initiativesQuality Management and Continuous Improvement
Establish and maintain service quality standards SLAs and KPIs across HR operationsDesign and lead internal quality assurance programs measuring accuracy turnaround time customer satisfaction and complianceConduct regular audits root cause analysis and corrective action plansEmbed a culture of continuous improvement using data metrics and feedback loopsHR Risk Management and Governance
Identify assess and mitigate HR operational risks including compliance data privacy and regulatory risksMaintain risk registers controls and documentation aligned to global and local requirementsPartner with audit legal compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to policies and regulationsEnsure governance frameworks are embedded across shared services operationsStakeholder Engagement and Communication
Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners HR Technology Payroll Benefits Compliance and external vendorsAct as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on shared services performance risks and opportunitiesPrepare dashboards reports and executive level insights to communicate value and performanceInfluence stakeholders through clear data driven communication and structured governance forumsPeople Leadership and Development

Basic Qualifications
8+ yrs Bachelor degree with eight or more years of experience in HR Operations HR Shared Services or related fieldsStrong experience with enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday and case management tools such as ServiceNow
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a global HR Shared Services modelProven experience leading transitions process migrations and operational transformationsStrong background in quality management risk governance and complianceExperience with metrics driven performance management and executive reportingExposure to digital automation tools including RPA analytics or AI enabled solutionsProject management and continuous improvement experience preferredStrong communication stakeholder management and leadership skills Visa is an EEO Employer.
