The Opportunity

As Product Manager, you’ll lead category growth through strategic planning, commercial discipline and strong cross-functional collaboration. This is a role for someone commercially sharp, analytically strong and confident influencing at senior level. You’ll have ownership of roadmap execution, product launches, in-life performance and value optimisation, all while embedding customer centricity at the heart of decision making.

What You’ll Be DoingProduct Strategy & Growth

Executing the agreed product strategy and roadmap, ensuring compliance with evolving UK legislation and sustainability standards

Forward planning the annual category roadmap in line with business objectives

Identifying and implementing strategies to shift from commodity-based sales to differentiated, high-value solutions

Conducting regional gap analysis to drive national product consistency

Leading value-led development projects based on market opportunity, feasibility and competitive differentiation

Commercial Performance & Market Insight

Owning profitability and commercial success across regional and national product lines

Aligning product specifications with regional manufacturing constraints

Monitoring competitive landscape and identifying opportunities to strengthen value proposition

Managing full in-life product performance, customer feedback and technical considerations

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

Leading structured product launch plans with marketing, manufacturing, technical and sales teams

Providing clear technical and legislative insight to shape compelling market messaging

Supporting NPD roadmaps to ensure new formulations meet legislative and regional requirements

Aligning product communication with housebuilder and specifier needs

Maintaining centralised technical data and product resources for business-wide access

Quality & Governance

Ensuring health and safety considerations are embedded in all decision-making

Maintaining high product quality standards across development and improvement initiatives

Driving KPI performance including category sales growth, new product revenue ratio and product cycle time

What You’ll BringExperience in product management, product sales or project-led commercial roles

Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy

Deep understanding of market insight, customer needs analysis and competitor positioning

Confidence influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading without direct authority

Commercial acumen with experience managing profitability and business cases

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Strong project management, prioritisation and decision-making ability

A positive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset

High energy with the confidence to challenge constructively and celebrate success
