Founding Marketer

Our client is a high-growth fintech firm building the global account layer that powers the modern financial stack. As companies expand internationally, financial operations often become fragmented and fragile; our client provides the infrastructure that turns these operations into a driver for revenue and growth. With significant traction and a mission to build the financial primitives for the world’s largest global platforms, the organization is seeking its first marketing hire to shape and scale its narrative.
Based in New York City, this is a "zero-to-one" role for an execution-obsessed marketer. The successful candidate will work directly with the founders to write the marketing playbook, focusing simultaneously on the U.S. and Latin American markets. This role is responsible for driving revenue through high-impact events, a sharp social presence, and strategic content that speaks directly to CTOs, finance leads, and founders.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Conferences
Lead the firm’s presence at major fintech and infrastructure conferences across the U.S. and Latin America (e.g., Money 20/20, Fintech Meetup, Fintech Americas, Mexico Fintech Week).Design booth strategies, manage logistics, and host intimate side events to ensure conference attendance generates a measurable sales pipeline.Build a proprietary event series, including founder meetups and product demos, in New York and key LatAm cities.
Content & Social Strategy
Own the LinkedIn and social media strategy for both English- and Spanish-speaking audiences, creating direct, narrative-driven content.Produce thought leadership pieces and video content, utilizing AI tools to scale distribution without sacrificing authenticity.Drive media strategy across both regions, securing press and podcast appearances to position leadership as global thought leaders.
Revenue-Focused Marketing
Structure and execute inbound generation campaigns, tracking performance and iterating based on revenue impact rather than vanity metrics.Coordinate with Sales and Engineering teams to ensure marketing efforts feed qualified leads—ranging from enterprise platforms to high-growth fintechs—into the funnel.Establish scalable systems, including templates and content engines, that function across multiple geographies.Requirements
Experience: Proven background in B2B, enterprise SaaS, fintech, or payments marketing.Execution Focus: A "ship-first" mentality with the ability to turn abstract ideas into tangible results in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.Technical Aptitude: AI-native mindset, comfortable using modern tools to accelerate output and quality.Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred given the firm's deep roots and core operations in Latin America. Portuguese is considered a significant plus.Communication: Exceptional storytelling abilities with a "non-corporate," direct, and human tone.Interpersonal Skills: Strong executive presence, capable of representing the firm at high-level summits in New York or private dinners in Santiago and Bogotá.Location: This is an in-person role based in New York, NY.Benefits
