The Video Editor will be responsible for creating engaging short-form video content and storytelling optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, and YouTube Shorts. The editor will work to transform raw footage, creator-style content, and educational wellness material into high-performing social media videos that drive engagement, reach, and conversions.
The ideal candidate understands social media storytelling, current platform trends, and how to structure videos that capture attention in the first few seconds. They should be comfortable editing UGC-style content, founder-led educational videos, and paid advertising creatives while maintaining a clean, calming, and authentic wellness brand aesthetic.
This role also requires the ability to identify trending content formats on TikTok and adapt them for brand use, as well as the ability to incorporate AI tools to improve editing efficiency and content production workflows.
A test project will be required as part of the interview process.
Responsibilities:
Short-Form Video Editing Edit engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, and YouTube Shorts Optimize videos with strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds Create fast-paced, engaging edits without feeling overly edited Use jump cuts, silence removal, and retention techniques Implement mobile-first editing with captions and visual cues Add light motion graphics and visual enhancements Viral Content & Trend Awareness Identify and analyze trending content formats on TikTok and short-form platforms Adapt viral formats to align with brand messaging Propose new content ideas based on emerging trends Understand patterns that drive engagement, shares, and watch time UGC & Authentic Content EditingEdit a variety of creator-style and authentic content, including:
Smartphone-shot videos Founder / expert talking-head content Customer testimonials Lifestyle and “day in the life” content Creator-style UGC Educational Video StorytellingStructure educational wellness videos using formats such as:

Experience 2+ years of experience editing short-form social media content Experience editing for DTC wellness, health, beauty, or supplement brands Strong understanding of social media psychology and content virality Experience editing both paid ads and organic content Editing ToolsExperience with one or more of the following:
