Location: Remote
We are looking for a skilled MEP Shop Drawing Specialist with strong experience in mechanical systems drafting to support our client’s engineering and construction documentation needs. This role focuses on producing accurate and detailed shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler systems while collaborating with the design team to solve routing and coordination challenges.
Work Schedule: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities:
Create detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCADDevelop shop drawings for plumbing and sprinkler systemsCoordinate and route piping systems efficiently and effectivelyCommunicate ideas and solutions for complex routing challengesWork with established templates and systems provided by the clientCollaborate on HVAC system design and documentationAdapt to client-specific workflows and methodologies through trainingRequirements
Strong understanding of construction principles and practicesBackground and experience in creating shop drawings for mechanical systemsProficiency in Revit software for MEP applicationsExperience with AutoCAD for technical drawingsKnowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler system designExcellent communication skills for coordination and problem-solvingAbility to work Eastern Standard Time hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST)Willingness to learn client-specific templates and systemsBenefits
