Responsibility:
1. Effectively leading the Final Underwriting of Conforming and HELOC loans, Verification of Employment and various third-party ordering and processing.
2. Volume Management: Assignment of volume in internal assignment tools depending on the resources and skills of the team members.
3. Learning and Development: Maintaining SOPs of the process and taking process trainings.
4. Assisting Senior leadership in capacity and resource planning.
5. Conducting Quality audits of Final Underwriting review and ensuring the team is meeting the quality parameters.
6. Regularly tracking the Underwriting updates and assessing the impact of the final underwriting review in Throttle.
7. Jira project tracking software management for effective assessment of tickets and ensuring resolution meeting SLA targets.
8. First point of contact for resolving escalated final Underwriting files.
9. Data extraction and analysis.
10. Involved in multiple projects leading to continuous improvement and process efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in US Mortgage and minimum 3 years of experience in Underwriting domain.
2. Strong analytical skills.
3. Quick learner and display strong leadership skills.
4. Detailed understanding of the Conforming and HELOC guidelines.
5. Knowledge of Data Analysis and Jira software management.
6. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools especially advanced excel.
7. Problem solver and escalation management.
