Software Engineer, Frontend About the RoleWe're looking for a Frontend Engineer to help define how Pika feels as we pivot into orchestrating agentic infrastructure and creative platforms. You'll own essential parts of our product UI—building interfaces that are fast, polished, and intuitive. This is an opportunity for someone who values quality, micro-interactions, performance, and the craft that elevates good products to great ones.
What You'll DoBuild and own core UI surfaces across Pika's web products
Write clean, maintainable code that shapes our UI foundation for the future
Collaborate closely with design to translate concepts into polished, performant interfaces
Optimize performance: fast initial loads, smooth interactions, and minimal bundle sizes
Identify and drive improvements to make the product better
What We're Looking ForStrong TypeScript and React skills, with a focus on well-structured, reusable component architecture
Deep understanding of how to organize and scale React codebases: clean abstractions, thoughtful patterns, maintainable systems
Experience implementing smooth, performant animations (CSS, Motion, GSAP, or similar)
A strong sense of craft and attention to detail
Familiarity with Next.js, Tailwind, and modern frontend tooling
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and owning projects end-to-end
Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across design and engineering
Nice to HaveBased in or around Palo Alto, CA
Background in design or strong design sensibility
