We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management and supplier account management, performance metrics monitoring and development. Responsibilities - Lead cross-functional commodity teams with a focus on offshore labour - Develop and align commodity strategies with business goals and stakeholder needs - Execute strategies in partnership with global and regional teams to ensure a scalable and high-performing supply base - Drive strong supplier relationship management to unlock value and cost optimisation opportunities - Lead or contribute to major tenders and cost-saving initiatives across projects - Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels - Enable end-to-end value creation through collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement Qualifications - 7+ years’ experience in global procurement and category/commodity management - Relevant Master’s degree (e.g. Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance) - Offshore wind experience is a strong advantage - Background in project management within EPC, oil & gas, or infrastructure - Proven experience developing and implementing strategies in matrix organisations - Solid leadership skills with ability to drive cross-functional collaboration - Effective analytical capabilities with experience handling complex data sets Competencies - Solid cross-functional leadership with ability to coach, support, and drive collaboration - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influencing skills - Open-minded with an end-to-end value chain perspective - Demonstrated project management capability in complex tenders and optimisation initiatives - Solid stakeholder management skills, building relationships both internally and externally - Results-driven, with the ability to perform in dynamic and changing environments What we offer We offer an exciting position with great development opportunities in an inspiring environment at the world's number one wind turbine producer.
