About this role

We are supporting a major nuclear infrastructure programme based near Hinkley Point C, delivered by one of the UK’s leading energy organisations.

This opportunity is ideal for a Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance professional with experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments, supporting compliance, governance, and continuous improvement across complex engineering projects.

You will play a key role ensuring quality standards are maintained across project teams and suppliers, supporting one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support deployment and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 19443, and regulatory requirementsConduct and support internal and supplier auditsMonitor quality performance and identify improvement opportunitiesSupport project teams in implementing quality processes and best practiceInterface with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and project teamsProduce reports and quality documentation using Microsoft Office and reporting toolsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the programme Required Skills:

5–9 years’ experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance, or Compliance roleExperience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)Experience with ISO 9001 or similar recognised quality standardsExperience working in regulated or safety-critical industries (nuclear, defence, aerospace, rail, oil & gas, or similar)Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience using SharePoint and collaborative platformsRequired Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Desirable Skills:

Experience in the nuclear sector

Familiarity with ISO 19443Experience using Power BI or similar reporting toolsExperience using Jira, Confluence, or Atlassian toolsExperience supporting supplier quality or audit programmesUnderstanding of working in highly regulated environments Why join us?
