About this role
We are seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to support day‑to‑day microbiological testing and environmental monitoring activities within a regulated laboratory setting. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow foundational microbiology experience in a cGMP environment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine microbiological testing including endotoxin and bioburden assaysExecute environmental monitoring (EM) sampling in cleanrooms and controlled spacesConduct water sampling activities; may include sampling within animal facility areasPerform clean steam and compressed gas samplingMaintain aseptic technique throughout all laboratory operationsSupport general laboratory activities including cleaning, stocking, inventory, and cold-room 5S upkeepAccurately document all work in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standardsFollow established protocols and SOPs while assisting in troubleshooting as needed Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or 0–2 years of directly related laboratory experienceExperience with standard microbiological methods and aseptic techniquePrior work in a laboratory setting required; cGMP knowledge preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data analysis toolsAbility to learn new techniques and manage multiple tasksStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and record‑keeping abilitiesDemonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive, adaptable attitudeAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship What to Expect in the Hiring Process:
