This is a full time, permanent position. Working a 39 hour week, Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
As a MSAT Laboratory Support Analyst will serve as a laboratory support analyst within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities that you be covering:
You will support cell‑culture and purification activities, including equipment setup, material preparation, and routine laboratory operations.You will contribute to bioreactor runs through monitoring, sampling, sample analysis, and performing feed activities to maintain process performance.You will maintain laboratory equipment by completing routine checks, coordinating calibrations, organising maintenance, and ensuring operational readiness.You will manage essential laboratory support tasks such as autoclave and washer processing, sample‑management activities, and restocking consumables.You will develop subject‑matter expertise in assigned techniques and independently write or revise SOPs, reports, and other controlled documentation.You will monitor equipment alarms, respond appropriately, and liaise with maintenance personnel while supporting investigations where required. What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an Large Molecule API Shift Laboratory Support Analyst:
You will hold a diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Biology, or bring equivalent industry experience depending on qualifications.You will have industrial experience in aseptic techniques, with practical cell‑culture experience considered a strong advantage.You will ideally bring additional exposure to a biotech or biopharmaceutical industrial environment.You will have experience with analytical techniques such as cell counting (CEDEX/Vi‑Cell), pH and conductivity testing, metabolite analysis (BioFlex), and osmolality measurement.You will preferably have hands‑on analytical laboratory experience within a GMP or GLP environment.You will demonstrate strong attention to detail, disciplined technical practice, and the analytical skills required to troubleshoot laboratory issues.You will contribute effectively within team structures and demonstrate the ability to take a leadership role when required.You will communicate clearly and professionally, supporting effective collaboration across laboratory and project teams.
