Analytical Biochemist Group Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervise others in performing client’s service requirementsCoach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvementsFoster motivation and moraleCoordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TATPrepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growthCoach and develop individuals and team to maximize performance Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directly-related experience BS, 6-8 yrs exp; MS, 4-6 yrs exp; PhD, 0-2 yrs with leadership experienceAnalytical laboratory skills.Experience with the following: HPLC, UHPLC, and CE Collaborative personality and acute attention to detail.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good verbal communication, organization, presentation, and technical writing skills.
