About this role

We are seeking a passionate and detail oriented Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our culinary team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and maintaining the highest quality of pastry, desserts, and bakery items, ensuring consistency, creativity, and adherence to Sofitel’s luxury brand standards.

Prepare, bake, and present a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and hotel standardsEnsure consistency, quality, and visual appeal in all items servedAssist in developing seasonal desserts, special offerings, and event specific creationsMaintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of ingredients and equipmentFollow hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards at all timesMonitor inventory, report shortages, and support proper storage and rotation of ingredientsAssist in preparing desserts for outlets, banquets, weddings, and other eventsEnsure all pastry items meet Sofitel standards for taste, quality, and presentation Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pastry production within luxury hotels, resorts, or fine dining establishmentsStrong technical skills in pastries, desserts, chocolate, and bakery itemsCreative, detail oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional qualityKnowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety standards in a professional kitchenAbility to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while maintaining consistencyStrong teamwork and communication skillsFlexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
