Card Design & Brand Governance is part of Visa’s Asia Pacific Visa Design & Creative Studio. The team focuses on elevating and protecting the way the Visa brand is experienced in form factors and digital experiences so as to drive greater brand presence and preference, ensuring its strength and viability for the future.

What a Card Design & Brand Governance Manager does at Visa

This role will specialize in two main areas:

Brand Governance - optimize brand presence in assigned geographies:

Provide direction, guidance and education of the brand standards governing the design of cards and other form factors, digital experiences as well as marketing outreach, and manage related governance processPartner with clients to use form factor innovations to advance strategic imperativesResponsible for brand stewardship for financial institution/ merchant co-branded card programsAd-hoc projects where required Creative Services – champion form factor creative excellence:

Regional expert advisor on form factor design standards, production excellence, and innovationResponsibilities:

Brand Governance:

Educate internal stakeholders, Visa clients and card vendors on the Visa Product Brand Standards governing the design of form factors and digital experiencesManage the review of and inquiries on form factor and digital experience designs within established service level agreementsPropose thought insights in physical and digital experience design to support the business objectives of Visa clientsReview and categorize affinity cobrand partnerships proposed by financial institutions to ensure brand and reputational fitAssist with ad hoc projects as neededCreative Services:

Build and maintain a form factor center of excellence covering country market landscape, global design trends, innovation opportunities and best practicesParticipate in form factor design projects in a specialist capability, evangelize stakeholders on the value of the form factor as a brand ambassadorial tool, design and innovation options, vendor capabilities and process requirements throughout the project lifecycleDrive knowledge sharing and training across functional/country teams to improve understanding of creative services capabilities to drive greater commercial engagementWhy this is important to Visa:

What you will need:

The ideal candidate has a solutions-oriented mindset, strong project management and communications skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be adept in working within all levels of the organization and across geographies. The candidate should enjoy solving complex problems by first researching and then involving cross-functional key stakeholders to come to a resolution.

Experience:

At least 8 years’ experience in a brand governance and operations role in a matrixed global organization

Qualifications:

A degree in a related-disciplineResults-oriented with strong analytical skills and demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorExcellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to influence and build consensus across a broad set of constituenciesStrong organizational and presentation skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a timeSelf-starter, solutions-oriented, meticulous, systematic and independent thinker, comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, outcome-orientated work environmentProficiency in using AI tools
