About the job:
The successful candidate will become part of the newly established Future Medicines Institute (FMI) chemistry group, focussed on the synthesis and iterative design of next generation induced proximity therapeutics. The role will include design, planning and delivery small molecule compound libraries for the FMI Biological screening team.
This is a temporary role to cover a period of maternity leave.
About the person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
Degree in Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. Have or be about to obtain* a relevant PhD (chemistry/medicinal chemistry).*Must be obtained within 3 months of date of interview. Significant, relevant research experience. Experience in design and synthesis of small molecules and/or compound libraries. Experience in analytical techniques, such as NMR, HPLC and LC-MS. Experience in compound data analysis. Experience in lab project supervision.
