Job summary
Blossom Health Gosport is looking to recruit a salaried GP to cover 4-8 sessions per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly forward-thinking practice in Gosport. Located on the ground floor of Gosport War Memorial Hospital and with a rapidly expanding practice list size of 5975 patients our current practice team is made up of 2 Salaried GPs, 2 prescribing ANPs, a practice nurse, respiratory nurse, diabetic nurse, an advanced HCA and a Phlebotomist all supported by our friendly reception and admin teams.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Job description Job responsibilities
To provide excellent patient care The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. Participate in setting standards for care and auditing clinical outcomes. Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards Prescribing in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary or generically whenever this is clinically appropriate.
