About this role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Bookkeeper with strong accounts receivable and collections experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Payroll and QuickBooks Time.
Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for construction projects using QuickBooks. Handle accounts receivable and actively collect outstanding debts owed to the company. Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices. Process payroll through QuickBooks Payroll. Manage employee time tracking using QuickBooks Time. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing.
Requirements
Proven bookkeeping experience in the construction industry (required). Strong background in accounts receivable and collections. Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, and QuickBooks Time. Knowledge of job costing, progress billing, and retainage is a plus.
