About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist with strong experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) — particularly food & beverage — to optimize customer journeys and drive measurable revenue growth across our digital commerce ecosystem.
This role blends analytical rigor, experimentation expertise, and UX sensibility. You will identify friction points across the funnel, design structured tests, and implement improvements that increase conversion rate, AOV, and overall revenue performance.
Role Overview
You will own end-to-end CRO initiatives across websites, landing pages, product detail pages, and checkout flows. The ideal candidate understands CPG buying psychology — from discovery to purchase — and knows how to translate behavioral insights into scalable experimentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesCRO Strategy & Execution
Lead full-cycle CRO initiatives: audits, hypothesis creation, test design, implementation, and analysis Identify friction points in the purchase funnel and prioritize opportunities using structured frameworks Optimize landing pages, PDPs, collections, and checkout flows Drive performance improvements in conversion rate, AOV, and revenue per visitor
Research & Consumer Insight
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research: Heatmaps Session recordings Funnel performance analysis Behavioral segmentation Competitor benchmarking Apply CPG merchandising principles and consumer psychology to optimization strategy Identify purchase triggers and objections specific to food & beverage audiences
Experimentation & Testing
Build and execute A/B and multivariate tests Develop test roadmaps aligned with promotional campaigns and product launches Analyze results and present clear, actionable insights Collaborate cross-functionally to deploy winning variants
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with design and development teams to implement UX/UI improvements Work closely with marketing on promotional and seasonal campaigns Ensure optimization efforts align with broader growth strategy
Requirements
3–5+ years of dedicated CRO experience Strong background in CPG (preferably food & beverage brands or agencies serving CPG clients) Expertise in: GA4 Heatmapping tools (Hotjar, Clarity, Lucky Orange) A/B testing platforms (VWO, Optimizely, Convert, Intelligems) Proven track record of measurable improvements in: Conversion rate Revenue per visitor Engagement metrics Strong understanding of CPG buyer behavior and merchandising psychology Ability to translate data into UX/UI improvements and structured hypotheses
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in DTC or subscription-based CPG brands Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms Familiarity with prioritization frameworks such as ICE, PXL, or PIE Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS/JS)
