Position OverviewA manufacturing organization is seeking a Test Engineer to support product development, production, and repair activities. This role focuses on testing at the component level and requires strong troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities TechnicalPerform production and repair test activities for assigned productsDesign, develop, and implement cost-effective methods for testing and troubleshooting systems and equipmentPrepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures, and develop procedures for new productsAuthor or edit technical documentation following change management processesCollaborate with operations personnel to establish test plans and support work cell completion ratesSupport the transition of test solutions between facilities during product acquisitionsCommunicate program status, capital requests, and improvement initiatives to management Reporting & CommunicationProactively report operational and technical risks and opportunities within the business unitProvide regular performance updates to the Engineering ManagerEffectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Culture & TeamworkSupport operational goals by providing technical guidance that drives productivityAdapt to changing priorities and handle ambiguity while maintaining focus on long-term initiatives Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or related technical field8+ years of direct industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong analog and digital troubleshooting skills to the component levelExperience with software programming or diagnostic tools for troubleshootingExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment
