YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
You design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable backend services in Go to support key business productsYou collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional team members to deliver impactful, customer-facing solutionsYou write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong focus on quality and business valueYou take end-to-end ownership of your solutions, deploying and operating them in a modern cloud environment (e.g., AWS)You ensure that your solutions are robust, observable, and easy to operate in production environmentsYou demonstrate mastery of modern development toolchains, including AI-powered tools that enhance productivity, automation, and code qualityYOUR SKILLS MATTER
Experience You have solid experience developing backend services in Go, with a strong understanding of REST and gRPC APIsArchitecture You are familiar with event-driven architectures and have hands-on experience with Kafka and microservices in production environmentsData Stores You have worked with data stores like PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch, and understand how to choose the right storage for the problemAgility You thrive in agile teams, continuously seek to improve processes and systems, and are passionate about learning and sharing knowledgeCuriosity You are open-minded and collaborative, willing to occasionally support frontend development and work across the stack when neededWHAT WE OFFER
