Working across all sections of the kitchen, but focusing on Chinese Cuisine, you will be responsible for working with your Team to provide the highest level of food service to our sites. To be successful, you’ll need;
Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rightsAble to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police checkCertificate III (minimum requirement) or IV (desirable) in Commercial CookeryExperience cooking Chinese cuisine (Northern Traditional, Shanghai and Southern) essentialStrong Chef experience (minimum 3 years) requiredFIFO Chef experience highly desirableFood Safety Supervisor CertificateAbility to work well under pressure Working on the mines can be very rewarding but it isn’t for everyone.
