About this role
The jobholder (m/f/d) will be based in Taufkirchen as a **Mechanical Development Engineer (f/m/d) and is **responsible for the following tasks: - Creation of finite element models (ANSYS / NASTRAN) for mechanical analyses based on CAD geometry, material / fluid properties and/or requirements from specifications - Thermomechanical analyses of engine and propulsion components, including justification against static & dynamic loads as well as fatigue and damage tolerance - Model validation based on test data or heritage - Assessment of the required analyses and derivation of proposals for design optimization - Documentation of results - Presentation in front of the customer, e.g. within design reviews Personal requirements: - Team player with excellent communication skills - Service and customer orientated person with high sense of responsibility - High level of assertiveness Ergänzende Informationen: Anforderungen an den Bewerber: Erweiterte Kenntnisse: Dokumentation (technisch), Mechanik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik
