Scope of duties We are recruiting a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher with a veterinary medicine or biology background for a fully funded basic/ translational cancer research position at LMU University Hospital Munich. The position focuses on in vivo tumor models to develop multimodal therapies combining thermosensitive liposomal drug delivery, regional hyperthermia, and immunotherapy/targeted approaches (CAR-T cells, small molecules). The goal is to improve intratumoral drug delivery and overcome resistance in “immunologically cold” tumors (Sarcoma, Pancreatic Cancer). The project is embedded in a highly motivated environment with direct links to clinical trials and biotech collaborations. We are looking for candidates with experience in animal models and a strong interest in oncology and immunology.
