<p>Contractor Company is looking for candidates for the position of Rotating Equipment Senior Engineer, with at least 15 years of demonstrable experience in this type of equipment in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Projects or Power Plants.<br>The Rotating Equipment Senior Engineer will develop activities for specify, select and follow up rotating equipment, ensuring the compliance with the technical, QA/QC and HSE requirements. The candidate must have extensive knowledge in rotating equipment (gas and steam turbines, compressors, pumps, etc).Review project specifications and technical requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry.</li> <li>Review Vendor offers and prepare technical evaluations.</li> <li>Support procurement team in defining cost evaluation for equipment.</li> <li>Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for purchaseReview, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other technical disciplines<br>Attend to internal review activities and participate in inter-discipline review meetings (HAZOP, P&IDs screening, 3D Model review, etc).</li> <li>Coordinate and assist other technical disciplines to perform engineering activities providing technical information as utilities and electrical load list, layouts, etc<br>Provide support for expediting and testing activities Provide support to project engineering for Client requirements providing technical information, attending meetings, etc.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required profile and experience:</strong> </p> <p>The candidate must demonstrate experience in autonomous work and have worked on service projects such as FEEDs, EPCs, etc., and/or have assumed the role of PMC/PMT supervising the work of another contractor.<br>Requirements:<br>Knowledge in the preparation of specifications, selection, technical evaluation of offers, inspection and tests of rotating equipment.<br>Experience in the application of Norms, International Standards, quality control plans and personnel management for the execution of projects.<br>General knowledge of the different disciplines involved: Electricity; Instrumentation; Piping; HSE.<br>Main valuable personal characteristics are leadership, proactivity, honesty, focusing on targets, ownership of assignments, team building and open to learn.<br>The candidates will have the opportunity of developing a very specialized and technical skill within a collaborative team of professionals.</p> <p><strong>Tools:</strong></p> <p>Office package (word, excel, etc)</p> <p><strong>Languague:</strong></p> <p>English (minimum B2)</p>
