This includes: Engineering Configuration Statement (ECS) preparation, Audits of CM data for major Suppliers, CM reviews related to Design Change Proposals (DCP),etc.</li> <li>Contribute to the Configuration Management Knowledge domain.</li> <li>Support engineering initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiencies by introducing novel approaches to configuration management for sustaining and development programs.</li> <li>Represent the Configuration Management team in various cross-functional meetings and working sessions.</li> <li>Present CM topics to any level of the organization including upper management.</li> <li>Accountable to build Configuration Management Plans for new aircraft development programs.</li> <li>Develop Config Management Policies and Procedures for Bombardier and identify and/or drive process improvements.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px"><b>How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience: </b></H3> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li>You have deep knowledge of CM activities within the Bombardier system and on various platforms and how they are applied with respect to the Product Definition at Bombardier. </li> <li>You have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in the aircraft configuration management field.</li> <li>You have expert level understanding of Airframe configuration management and control and have developed multiple aircraft level Configuration Management Plans</li> <li>You have strong understanding of civil aircraft certification rules and experience in certification procedures.</li> <li>You are highly motivated with a proven ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
