<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Title: Technical Expert – Engine Performance</H2> </div><div></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">In your role, you will</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Understand the functioning of the engine control system, the aircraft performance, and how these interface with the whole aircraft and various sub-systems;</li> <li>Support engine performance aspects including bleed system integration, idle settings definition including steep approach, go-around performance;</li> <li>Support the propulsion, thermodynamics, hydraulic, electrical and fuel system groups;</li> <li>Estimate installed power plant Performance;</li> <li>i.e. Thrust, Specific Fuel Consumption, Rotational speeds, Turbine temperatures, etc</li> <li>Plan engine performance flight testing, support to flight test and flight test data reduction</li> <li>Create reports to document flight test data analysis and to support aircraft certification;</li> <li>Plan the engine performance tasks and priorities for a development program</li> <li>Participate in the application and the development of the Bombardier Engineering System (BES)</li> <li>Focus on ensuring Engine Performance processes are followed and continually improved.</li> <li>Support new product development activities as part of an IPDT </li> <li>Support management with the hiring process by reviewing candidates and participating in selection interviews</li> <li>Collect Lessons Learned and ensure best practice/common approach across aircraft development programs<br> </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">As our ideal candidate</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>You have more than 11 years of relevant experience in the field of Engine Performance (ideally at least 14 years) </li> <li>You have experience conducting Engine Performance ground and flight tests for aircraft certification and supplier compliance.</li> <li>You are a DAD (Design Approval Designee) or meet the requirements for that designation. </li> <li>Eligibility for membership in and engineering professional order would be an asset.</li> <li>You possess a good working knowledge of Part 25 regulatory requirements. </li> <li>You possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English</li> <li>Knowledge of French would be an asset</li> <li>You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, </li> <li>Master’s degree would be an asset</li> <li>You have good knowledge of various programming languages used by the industry (like FORTRAN, C++, Python, Matlab, Teamcenter) and various Microsoft Office Suite packages</li> <li>You are eligible to obtain (CGD) Controlled Goods Clearance to be able to work on Missionized Aircraft Programs in support of Bombardier Defense<br> </li> </ul> </div></div></div>
