We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.</p> <p>You will be part of the Air Systems Engineering / Pneumatics Systems Discipline team where you will be involved in Aircraft Systems Engineering for Environmental Control, Bleed Air, Ice and Rain Protection, Cabin Pressurization, Fire/Smoke detection, Heaters, Oxygen, Flow distribution and Ventilation.<br> </p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">In your role, you will</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Act as a systems engineer and carry out pneumatics discipline activities </li> <li>Assure integration and interface management of assigned systems and coordinate with internal groups & suppliers.</li> <li>Define pneumatic system architecture, prepare specifications and requirements, conduct functional modeling and trade studies.</li> <li>Ensure requirements management, validation and verification </li> <li>Manage suppliers from a project and technical perspective</li> <li>Review and approve design documents such as vendor drawings, test procedures, acceptance test procedures, qualification reports and certification documents</li> <li>Document analysis, ground, and flight test results</li> <li>Prepare technical reports to show compliance to the applicable certification requirements</li> <li>Support the build and operation of test platforms (rigs, flight test vehicles)</li> <li>Work within multi-disciplinary team to address product definition or issue resolution</li> <li>Prepare design change modifications and optimized solutions.</li> <li>Support production and in-service teams in troubleshooting systems related issues.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to program schedule and milestones.</li> <li>Contribute to Knowledge Domain and Bombardier Engineering System (BES).<br> </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">As our ideal candidate</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>You have a bachelor’s or master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering. </li> <li>You have ideally 2-5 years of relevant technical experience in an aerospace engineering field</li> <li>You have excellent knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamic concepts.</li> <li>You quickly understand complex issues and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>You possess basic knowledge in the pneumatics field and interfacing technical disciplines such as system installation, stress, power plant and others.</li> <li>You are familiar with component qualification (DO-160, Mil-Std 810)</li> <li>You are familiar with Design Process Assurance (ARP4754 A)</li> <li>You have knowledge in functional modelling and system performance testing</li> <li>You are comfortable with the technical aspects of engineering as well as project management</li> <li>You have a good knowledge of MS Office tools </li> <li>You have knowledge of system design tools such as CATIA, Model Based Engineering or simulation software</li> <li>You are a recognized team player; work well in a team environment and create a collaborative relationship with other team members</li> <li>You are self-motivated, dynamic and a good communicator</li> <li>You possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills </li> <li>You are willing to travel for short-term assignments</li> <li>Bilingualism (French and English) would be an asset.<br> </li> </ul> </div></div></div><p>Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed for this position!
