PartnerRe has reinsurance carrier entities in Singapore, Hong Kong, and India.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Day-to-day management of Singapore and Hong Kong Compliance operations, including liaising with regulators and external auditors to address regulatory queries</li> <li>Monitor developments in Singapore, Hong Kong and India (& APAC) regulatory landscape and review, analyze and interpret applicable developments in co-ordination with relevant stakeholders</li> <li>Lead the design and implementation of processes to address Compliance Function deliverables and regulatory obligations, including quarterly and ad-hoc compliance reports and compliance planning</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>Work experience, skills & competencies</strong></em></p> <ul> <li>8 - 12 years experience working in a compliance role in a regulated insurance/reinsurance firm or broker, or alternatively within compliance in a technology firm</li> <li>Excellent problem solving, project management and research skills with relevant experience</li> <li>Commercially astute with a strong understanding of business, regulations and compliance</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as demonstrating your social competence and assertiveness is essential</li> <li>Ability to analyze legal and compliance obligations and develop control requirements</li> <li>Ability to work independently as well as within a team to build strong relationships with colleagues</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We have a preference for candidates who are proficient in leveraging artifical intelligence and digital tools to enhance compliance worflows (e.g. regulatory monitoring, risk assessments, due diligence, and reporting) with a focus on improving efficiency, consistency, and governance.
