We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.</p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">In your role, you will</H3> </div><div><p>Provide MRB Support:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to resolve material and structural issues identified during production or in-service.</li> <li>Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, providing technical guidance and recommendations.</li> <li>Analyze stress reports, non-conformities, and deviations, proposing effective solutions to maintain airworthiness.</li> <li>Work closely with DADs to ensure compliance with safety standards.</li> </ul> <p>Perform Structural Analysis:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct detailed stress analysis using finite element methods (FEM) and classical hand calculations.</li> <li>Evaluate structural components, assemblies, and modifications.</li> <li>Assess fatigue life, static strength, and damage tolerance.</li> <li>Identify critical areas and propose design improvements.</li> </ul> <p>Prepare Technical Documentation:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare stress reports, compliance documents, and engineering change requests (ECRs).</li> <li>Document findings, assumptions, and methodologies.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records for certification purposes.</li> </ul> <p>Support Continuous Improvement:</p> <ul> <li>Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.</li> <li>Collaborate with R&amp;D teams to enhance stress analysis tools and methodologies.</li> <li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.<br> </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">As our ideal candidate</H3> </div><div><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.<br> • Minimum 10 years of experience in stress analysis for aircraft structures.<br> • Proficiency in FEM software (such as Nastran, Abaqus, or Ansys).<br> • Familiarity with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada).<br> • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br> • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.<br> </p> </div></div></div><p>Bombardier is an equal opportunity employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age immigration status, disability or other applicable legally protected Characteristics to apply.<br> <br> We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
