If you have a good idea, we&apos;ll provide the environment in which it will thrive and grow into a great product or customer experience. <br> Your ideas are our fuel.</p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">In your role, you will</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Ensure design solutions meet stress performance specifications, applicable airworthiness regulations, and industry best practice.</li> <li>Review dispositions of production support engineering and substantiate repairs to demonstrate required stress performance, and compliance with applicable airworthiness regulations.</li> <li>Execute intermediate to complex Stress engineering assignments requiring familiarity with several fields of engineering.</li> <li>Identify and report on defects and deficiencies in work done by others.</li> <li>Prepare progress reports.</li> <li>Recommend changes in plans and specifications to suit special conditions</li> <li>Generate documentation for approval by others</li> <li>Review sections of documents prepared by others and recommend approval</li> <li>Perform various stress analyses and have good knowledge of static strength, fatigue, damage tolerance and finite element model (FEM) analysis for composite and/or metallic structures.</li> <li>Identify design risks and weight reduction opportunities</li> <li>Support concept generation and structural optimization by guiding engineers as they model the structure.<br> </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="margin:0.0px">As our ideal candidate</H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Holds an Aerospace or Mechanical engineering degree (Bachelor or Master) with strong focus on Mechanics of Materials and Structural Analysis.</li> <li>Has an experience of 5 to 8 years in structural analysis.</li> <li>Works autonomously with initiative and proactivity.</li> <li>Has functional knowledge of: <ul> <li>Metallic and composite material properties.</li> <li>Static strength requirements of aeronautical metallic structure.</li> <li>Composite classical laminate theory and composite failure analysis.</li> <li>Finite Element Analysis principles and associated tools.</li> <li>Fatigue requirements of aeronautical metallic structure.</li> <li>Aeronautical certification requirements.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Has a sustained hands-on experience on: <ul> <li>FEM analysis.</li> <li>Structural analysis using classical hand calculation.</li> <li>Composite structure analysis.</li> <li>Metallic structure fatigue analysis.</li> <li>Structure sizing and certification.</li> <li>Repair sizing &amp; justification.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Is proficient with Microsoft Office Tools.</li> <li>Has strong communication skills in English (written, spoken).</li> <li>Is a team player and can demonstrate good organizational skills.</li> <li>Has personal initiative and is creative in finding ways to resolve problems.<br> </li> </ul> </div></div></div><p>Bombardier Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer with a non-discrimination policy.<br> If your profile meets the requirements of the position, we will keep you informed via email or phone.</p> <p>Join us at: careers.bombardier.com</p> <p>Your ideas move people.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Job</b> Stress Engineering Professional</p> <p><b>Primary Location</b> Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M)</p> <p><b>Organization </b>Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M)</p> <p><b>Shift</b> Day job</p> <p><b>Employee Status</b> Regular</p>
